New Release - Jiro Dining Chair & Swivel Stool by John Tree

Resident, in collaboration with British designer John Tree, are pleased to announce two new releases within the Jiro seating range - a Dining Chair and Swivel Stool.

With intense focus on reducing and refining, our aim with these items is to meet the modern need for utility. The Jiro Swivel Chair was released in 2020 and with its minimal ergonomic form has elegantly delivered ‘the essential work chair’.

John Tree has taken this thoughtfully engineered flexible plywood backrest and developed a stackable dining chair that combines maximum comfort with minimal design, to deliver a high performing chair suitable for commercial and residential environments.

The swivel stool is offered in both counter and bar height and combines the flexible backrest with our signature 4 star base, resulting in a piece reminiscent of an architect’s drafting stool. With a 360 degree swivel function and auto return mechanism, this stool is equally appropriate for offices and hospitality environments.

All items are available with the option of upholstered seat pads.
