New Release - Vent Pendant by Daniel Schofield

Resident is pleased to introduce the Vent Pendant, a new lighting collection by Daniel Schofield.

This marks Schofield’s first design for Resident, expanding the studio’s established portfolio of considered lighting.

Crafted in cast aluminium or bronze, the pendant brings together two intersecting forms: a cone and a triangle. Together, they direct light in both focused and ambient directions, resulting in a
sculptural object that balances utility with raw material expression.

The Vent Pendant is made using the traditional process of sand casting — a technique Resident has become known for.
This method allows for rich surface textures and subtle inconsistencies, bringing a sense of tactility and depth to each piece.
